Join me at String and Salt in Warragul to learn how to bake your own, delicious artisan sourdough.

This comprehensive class will give you a skill for life. Together we’ll cover:

  • Starter culture creation and maintenance

  • All the steps to baking white, light rye and flavoured sourdough from your home kitchen, including:

    • Mixing

    • Proofing

    • Shaping

    • Slashing

    • Oven management/baking

  • Options for baking schedules including fridge retardation for long fermentations
